Okayyyyyy Nobel Prize woman of color giving Bluets if it was - dare I say - better written and more about sisterhood than romantic love.

Perfect for guilt tripping your little sister into appreciating you more

Now this one was a Self Help Book. Worth the hype? Perhaps. I look forward to prescribing to people unable to form the habit to read.

Perfect for getting deeply into running before eating too much at your girlfriend's birthday and never running agin

Wow! This is how you do horror and fantasy and mystery and thriller. I was wrapped up in the narrative the entire novel at the edge of my torn up seat for each drip of information supplied. A lovely introduction to the folklore of Native cultures and the sheer terror the christian church should strike in all of us.

Perfect for reading in the darkness of the night while your dog walks straight up to a feral cat and yelps

... What to say about this mushroom dog god orgy book? I wish I was one of the cult members who didn't get defibrillated after reading this. Gogo was the only redeeming factor and even then (!) I cringe at all of this.

Perfect for laughing so hard that you choke on the phone with your girlfriend (but not like that no no no not like that)

Completely unmemorable romance except for the super fun family. I suspended disbelief for the couponer but I'm still aghast at a full on Hawaiian wedding vacation?? In the year 2024, I thought not...

Perfect for absolutely forgetting a frame of reference of where or when you read the book because it is that unmentionable

no amount of bitcoin makes up for how long it takes to get to chapter 7...

okay i could be persuaded tho

looking forward to another doctor story that doesn't hinge on an amorphous residency

You know, Grann never disappoints but this one just didn't do it for me as much as the rest. Once the book picked up and the shipwreck, mutiny, and murders started happening, it was enthralling and flabbergasting and everything I ever expected. But BEFORE we get to these critical events, the book drags through almost tangential discussion of so much sea talk... I could do without.

Perfect for zipping through and cringing at every bad medical decision made along their forlorn path

Okay I guess. I was excited for a book that would revolutionize my way of thinking and study skills, but I don't think I gained that much insight into the world of metacognition. I think this would be great for an incoming college student learning how to learn complex concepts for the first time, but at this stage if I didn't know how to learn... thoughts and prayers.

Perfect for a quick... read trying desperately to bolster your academic prowess before interviews pick up

A sweet read that thoughtfully conceptualizes major changes of life and death for kiddos who enjoy apples

Perfect for a quick read with the best peppered annotation surprises

Here we go again, I kinda wanna be more than a closeted gay but if that closet is a mistress ridden room in a bustling French city -- I guess I could go back in then

Perfect to read in preparation for the most ephemeral and colorful lesbian wedding you will ever attend
