its wonderful being autistic if only people would STOP CHEWING so DAMN LOUD

perfect for smiling about love and loss and the gorgeousness of earth in this universe

was looking forward to this as a horror loving asian American but it SUcked. the characters felt like sterotypes! Even the main asian characters! how can you reduce your own culture and those who perpetrate violence upon us to silly tropes. i'm unsure. not even the gore was worth the read. cute twist but not well written or designed.

perfect for thinking back on all those fish eyes you should have eaten as a child to perhaps be lucky enough to forget reading this book

TOE?????? kinda freaky if you ask me

perfect for picking up IMMEDIATELY after missing an unmissable trivia question and learning so much about the universe that you will never miss a trivia question ever again

i think i've seen this film before,,, and it was a CD audiobook recording in my parent's minivan on the way to work in 2008

perfect for reinforcing why i don't read reacher books

kinda ahead of it's time if you ask me

perfect for connecting with your super smart girlfriend who always recommends the best books even from the olden times

thank you jamessss i love a short story book about the future but this time with gay people abound and stories of hiv and dinosaurs in every tale

perfect for being shocked and scared and giggling and hating men

nah just not it in a weird way. i was fully bought into the plot but the characters continuously fell flat for me. i'll say it, i don't care if the old lady lived or died

perfect for engaging with your actually haunted city in meaningful ways

greek mythology stan for life; however, the story of orpheus could have been more romantic just for my sake

perfect for refreshing yourself before being shipped to spain as a well-educated exotic dancer for your friend's wedding

oh what a let down. three gay sisters all in the rain but still no solid ending? armfield continues to build these beautiful magical worlds and then let me down with a rushed and barely pieced together finale. the sheer amount of characters felt overwhelming to the writer and the readers

perfect for carefully recommending to your cli-fi loving girlfriend

i mean, just fine. did it have to be a verse novel? no. did the boy have to speak? also no. was it an interesting story from a new perspective that helped me reframe my global idea of slavery? yeah i guess.

perfect for lively zoom book club with my favorite ex-fix in the world
