The need for a reread is SO STRONG!

Watch me gush over this masterpiece of a book, and trying to properly understand everything while making up tons of theories in our #BookTalkWithWifey January Book talk https://www.instagram.com/tv/B8UGHHyF9yi/ !

Watch our July #BookTalkWithWifey chat to see us completely losing it because this has been just perfect? Check out the book talk here https://www.instagram.com/tv/B0brItsApIS/

IS THIS MY NEW ALL TIME FAVORITE STANDALONE NOVEL????????? YES. YES. YEEEEES!!!

I already knew Margaret Rogerson's debut An Enchantment of Ravens, and I had to grab a copy of her latest novel! While I had some problems with AEOR that weren't major, I was a bit hesitant to start loving this book only based on the blurb (and cover... I wanna marry that thing!) because high expectations have never done me any good. So I went all neutral into the story, and fell in love with the setting and protagonist within the first pages.

This was the first time I liked the idea of sorcery linked to books or grimoires. The way Rogerson created this world just made sense - SO MUCH SENSE that I could start hearing my own books whistle to each other. Sometimes I get afraid when I see a book might be the story I was looking for so long, and dreaming of. In this case, I am so happy that Rogerson created this perfect world for booklovers like me, because she did everything right.

And don't get me started on the characters. When I realized how amazing the worldbuilding and setting was, I was afraid of the characters and their relationships to each other. All I was thinking was 'don't ruin this book for me, don't ruin this book for me, don'truinthisbookformeeee'. I already knew I liked Elizabeth a lot because she slayed in the first couple of chapters, but when I met Nathaniel and Silas, and when I got to learn more about Elizabeth, I was grinning all the time while reading this book. I loved them all. They all felt so real, I believed their intentions and words so easily, and I was so happy whenever they had a conversation because the trio was so dynamic. I could read a whole book of them sitting, drinking tea and chatting with each other. Because that's how much I LOVE THEM.

I could start rambling on how much I love every single on of them. Elizabeth, Nathaniel and of course my boy Silas. But that would take way too long.

However, my Bookstagram wifey and I discussed the book during a live chat and you can get all of the FANGIRLING and out of control moments of FEELS there! (@drawingandreading and @_ckarys on Instagram!)

This book is an hommage to every bookloving person out there. We could feel Elizabeth, see ourselves in her, and live this adventure in Great Libraries - a wish we all have (don't lie to me!).

How long did it take me to read this? I don't know... I started, I think, at 1pm, and now it's 3 am! (There were eating and peeing breaks!)
So it took me about 15 hours to finish this masterpiece! Now I need to catch up some sleep, so I can start Insurgent tomorrow!
Seriously, this book is so amazing, I enjoyed every single moment of it! There was no boring scene at all, let's start with fourtris, then dauntless, the simulations, the tests, the secrets...... Yes.... I think Veronica Roth can't be human! No human being is capable of something that beautiful! THANKS!
