i mean it was good but i was so happy to finish it

DESMOND!!! UGH. loved his pov. i kinda wish this was in tandem with book 1&2 of her pov bc of how clear it makes it that he’s not a pedo groomer and also bc the world building is so much better

i’m so confused why this is marketed the way it is bc it’s rather fluffy. i like the plot but the world building is just not there. the character development is ehhhh for everyone but the fmc and mmc which is like kinda weird for a plot that’s supposed to involve so many people??? and like how does this girl learn how to fight after one training session? like atleast tell me she felt it in her bones or just knew what to do but no she just did it out of nowhere

i would literally get on my knees and bow down to the author bc this is the most romantic and poetic book i’ve read all year, i don’t need the classics anymore bc this one did it for me. it did it for me. i’m just going to cry every day till book 2 comes out
