This just feels very...boring? Idk but it didn’t really stand out from other Little Mermaid retellings. It wasn’t anything special at least for me. The banter between the main characters was good though, and I liked the characters, but it didn’t really stick out to me. Want to read this authors other book though.

I know a lot of people love this book, and while I enjoyed it, I didn’t think it brought anything new to the table. Red was really cute though

I don’t care about these characters or what’s happening and I’m not gonna force myself to read something I could care less about. Reading is a hobby for me, and I don’t want to make it unfun.

It’s official, I love Emma Mills books! This is my second Emma Mills book, [b: Foolish Hearts|33275690|Foolish Hearts|Emma Mills|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1487081647l/33275690._SY75_.jpg|53998283] being my first, and while I didn’t love it as much as Foolish Hearts, I really enjoyed it. At the beginning I really was thinking about DNF’ing this because our MC was rly shallow, and the dude who (I thought) was her love interest was a dick. But our main character Devon grew so much as a character, and so did her cousin Foster. I loved Ezra, what a cutie, and I really enjoyed this. There was a bit girl on girl hate, but it was addressed in the end and our MC understands to love other girls so I think that turned out ok. Otherwise not much else to say, but I really enjoyed this!
