This book was very much a tell not show book.

I wanted so terribly to love this book. I enjoyed the first and have great respect for the author. However, the first chunk of this book felt like the same old same as the last book and so many phrases were so repetitive. After my friend told me that the second half of the book contained loads of sexual violence, I decided to put this one back on the shelf. 

this didn’t feel like poetry, it felt like little sayings people comment on tiktok. popular, i’m sure, but not my personal favorite.
