Thank you @celadonbooks @macmillan.audio for a copy of this book.

I have read a lot of historical fictions set in WWII, this is the first one that I've read about a child sent to America to be away from the war. The story is told in several POV so you see how the war impacts their lives. I enjoyed seeing the changes in not only Bea but also the Gregory family and also Bea's parents. The narration brought the story to life and I love that the story spanned so many years.

Thank you @smpromance for a copy of this book. I liked the chemistry between the Kat and Mick but both of their actions baffled me a bit. Mick's family added an interesting dimension to the story but I was not a fan of the love triangle. It just felt so forced and didn't make sense at all.
slow-paced

This was a cute small town second chance romance between Cate and Knox. I enjoyed the setting of Gull Island and the laid back vibe of the story.

I really wanted to see the romance develop between Cate and Knox and it just wasn't there. All of their interactions seemed rushed and not enough for me to buy it.

I felt the story got too much into details on the Cate's job and the scavenger hunt which felt unnecessary. I wished that time was spent on developing the romance.

If you enjoy small town romance with no steam, this one is for you.

Thank you @getredprboooks for a copy of the book.

I started reading this and switched to audio once I knew it was narrated by Julia Whalen. This book is more than a thriller, it deals with infertility, loss of child and the potential consequences on anonymous donor. I love that the story was told in several POV and how the story untold. I wasn't a big fan of the love triangle part and the end annoyed me but it was such an amazing story.

Thank you @pameladormanbooks @prhaudio for a fun debut novel. I love books about dysfunctional families and Pineapple Street explores the lives of the ultra wealthy Stockton family. We look at the lives of Darley and Georgiana who are born Stockton and their sister in-law Sasha. It was interesting to see each of their stories respective as it relates to wealth or the lack of it and how it impacts your behavior. Marin Ireland is such an amazing narrator and brought these ladies to life.

Thank you @berkleybooks @prhaudio for a copy of this book. This was a fun who done it mystery if the death of Marshall Chen in Vera Wang's famous tea shop. Vera is determined to figure out how killed Marshall and meets a cast of suspects. I love how Vera easily woven herself into these suspects' lives. The story is told in multiple POV and I enjoyed how their mystery of how they are tied to Marshall revealed. Overall a fun story about found family.

Thank you @avonbooks for a copy of this book. This was a story with an opposites attract between Hallie who inherited her grandmother's landscaping business and Julian, who returned town to save his family business. The story was cute but there was a lot going in the story that takes away from developing Hallie and Julian's relationship.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for a copy of this. This was such a fun rom com between Hallie and Jack. I love that it was told in a dual POV and the text exchanges were narrated as a duet which made it more natural. The narration was amazing and did a great job bringing the story to life. I love the friendship, the attraction and banter between the two.

Thank you @bookmarked @netgalley for a copy of this book.
This was a mix of groundhog day and sliding doors. This story is about Lou, a Swiss living in London and reliving the same time frame over 5x. Each time she makes a different decision and how it impacts the outcome of each loop. I love the story between Nick and Lou and their connection. This is a story about relationships with family as well as someone you love. Have tissues ready, I cried so many times.

Thank you @delreybooks @harperaudio for a copy of this book. As a fan of J.Crew, this book was right up my alley. I enjoyed the history of not only the brand and it's influence in American culture but also in general the change in how Americans shops. I did not realize they revolutionized how people shopped with their catalogs which I always loved getting. This book was entertaining and gave me a glimpse into the people behind the brand. It was also fun to see that a former blogger friend, Gigi's Gone Shopping, was quoted in the book.
