This is one of the best forbidden romance I have read! The story is told in present time as well as flashback of Tor and Kenzie as a child and their relationship. I love the bond that they have and seeing their relationship in the flashbacks. Kenzie is very mature for an 18 year old and Tor is such an amazing guy. The main tension of course when Kenzie's dad finds out about his best friendship having a relationship with his daughter.
mysterious
Thank you @souecebooks for a copy of this mystery. This story is about Lucy who went missing in the 50s and is told from Edie's perspective both present and back when they were teenagers. This story is about 2 teenagers that is coming of age and forms a friendship. The present time line made me feel sad for Edie who is in her 80s and has moments that she doesn't know what is happening. I enjoyed the seeing how the story unfolded.

Thank you @bookmarked for a copy of this story. This is not a retelling of Romeo and Juliet and I think that's what I loved about this book. It was a bit dark in a sense that Romeo is not who we learned from Shakespeare. I lobe that the story is told from Rosaline Capulet's POV and Romeo's love interest before Juliet. I loved how the ending lead us back to what we know about the traditional story.
Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for this holiday second chance romance. I love the setting of a charming Scottish hillside town and the Christmas setting. Maya is back in her home town after leaving her job and relationship. She runs into Sam in a great meet cute. I enjoyed seeing their friendship mend and how Sam helped Maya become who she wants. The romance and holiday part almost felt secondary.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for this fun holiday romance. If you like fake dating, forced proximity, enemies to lovers and lots of holiday cheer, this one is for you. My only gripe is that Laurel and Max fell for each other so quickly which feels to insta love for me. This book for sure got me ready for the holidays.

I have been waiting impatiently for Sloan and Lucien's story and I loved it! I have been curious what caused the hate between the two and we get our answers through flashbacks in this story. I love seeing them as teenagers and now as adult as they transition their relationship from enemies to lovers. This was my favorite of the series.

Helena Hunting is the queen of hockey romances. BJ and Winter are from opposites sides of the lake town and I love the meet disaster that brings them together. I have seen BJ in this series and was happy to get his story. I really liked the 2 of them together and BJ was such a perfect book boyfriend. I enjoyed the dual POV and seeing how they were both attracted to each other. I enjoyed seeing the other cast of characters play a role in this story.

This was one hot story! I love a good enemies to lovers, forced proximity story and you add being amateur porn stars - wowza! The story was hot and I love the banter between Colin and Madison. The dual POV was great and the narrators really brought these characters to life.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this book. I didn't realize this was the end of the series and have enjoyed seeing all the characters with the books. Lots happening in this story and kept me interested the whole time.

So much hype about this one and I feel it was overhyped. The audiobook had this weird noise that sounded like a whiff and wasn't sure if it was part of the story and it was so distracting. I am not sure I want to continue the series.
