Truly is a romance writer looking for a romance like her parents. Collin is a family law attorney that is staying away from it. They meet through a podcast and hit it off right away. This story gets messy with a lot of family drama on both sides. I enjoyed how Truly and Collin was total opposite attract and that they are both bisexual which added an interesting perspective.

Lots of 🔥🔥🔥 in the story and I am here for it.

Thank you @berkleyromance @prhaudio for a copy of this book.

This was a fun ghost story with a bit of romance to get ready for the Halloween. Cassie buys a home in Boneyard Key, a small beach town which is famous for their resident ghosts. She meets Nick, a local coffee shop owner who takes her under his wing. The romance between the two was a major slow burn and I felt it was almost a back seat. The ghost element made a fun part of the story and I love how they communicated to people. I liked that there was an element of mystery to the story too.

Jeannie Shenenan did a great job with the narration and kept me entertained and vested in the story.

This is not your typical vampire story and I loved it. This is a story about Nicola and Amber who are vampire pack for the last 50 years. The story is told in current day where they want to open a night club as a tribute to the 70s because they loved that era so much. There is also told in the past of both giving you a glimpse into their relationship.

The story is about toxic female relationship and the writing is full of sarcasm and humor. The supporting characters gave depth to the story.

Katherine Lee McEwan and Suzanne Elise Freeman did a great job with the narration.

This book just didn't work for me. I can't even tell you what it's about other than Annie and Mark's relationship. The story is very disjointed and slow. I listened to the whole book but nothing held my attention.

Sophie Rundle did a good job with the narration. She sounded confused and determined to fine out what happened.

This was a beautiful story about an older couple with one that has an incurable illness and they make a decision together on what to do. The story is told from the current times as well as flashing back to their younger days. I loved that the story shared both good and tough times and how they preserved.

The story is beautiful and so well told. Have tissues ready.

The Savage left on me on a cliffhanger and I had to read The Striker to see how Cecilia and Gabriel's love story plays out. I was happy to see Cecilia making progress to her road to recovery and making friends. Gabriel continues to be protective of her despite her ask to give her space.

Cecilia and Gabriel seems very young in this story with how they treat each other which frustrated me. But I guess it's appropriate for young adults. I still enjoyed Gabriel's friendship with his teammate and the riff on the team is totally justified and added tension to the story.

This book does end in a cliffhanger as well and I am vested to see how it all ties up.

After just watching the Olympics, I was intrigued a story about a former Olympic hopeful down on the dumps. This story is about Sean, who had a failed marriage and career and is forced back home and learns his brother committed suicide.

Sean feels that his brother did not commit suicide and decides to question everything and learns about his family and more about his estranged brother.

The story is told in current POV and the past and I really like how track was interwoven in the story.

I really enjoyed how the story unfolded and enjoyed all the subplots. Stacy Carolan did a great job with the narration and kept me interested.

I recommend that you read the first book, To Have and To Heist, before going into this book since it is the same characters and you get the background on each of them. This story is another heist and the story is a lot of fun. The romance between Simi and Jack is strained and Jack tries rekindle their romance while on a wild goose chase. I felt the romance was a bit awkward and took a back seat in this story.

The narrators, Soneela Nakani and Andrew Eiden both did a great job. I wanted more POV from Jack.

Former friends, Levi and June agrees to fake date to help each other out with very public breakups. We get a bit of romance between the two as well as their past l, dealing with grief death of a family member and trying to keep a business from failing. There is a lot going on and I felt the love story got a little lost. I wasn't vested in their story but kept going to see how it all ends. The story was a bit predictable and wasn't my favorite of Emma Lord's book.

Natalie Naudus did a good job with the narration. Thank you @smpromance @netgalley @macmillan.audio for a copy of this

This book is the 3rd book for the Carrigan's Christmas series and I do recommend that you read the first 2 books since it is all the same characters. We get Tara's story who was Miriam's ex-gf who is getting married. Holly agrees to fake date her to help each other out. I liked the opposite attract but I didn't buy their love story. There is a lot happening in the story that sort of distracts from their story. I did enjoy seeing all the previous characters and seeing their growth.
