I am a sucker for a fun meet cute and this one grabbed my attention from the first chapter. Lexi and Will meets at the restaurant where she works and somehow ends up being in a fake engagement. Will happens to be one of the most eligible bachelor in Seattle while Lexi works multiple jobs and lives with her mom.

Their chemistry is intense and agree to help each other out. I love how they formed a friendship. Will is the cinnamon MC that you love that is accepting, sweet and not only took care of Lexi but her mom as well.

I adored Will's sisters, grandparents and best friend, they added so much to the story.

This story is not only about finding love but rekindling lost friendships and dealing with grief.

I didn't realize this was a series and read it as a standalone and enjoyed this fun enemies to lovers. Lucy hates Jack, who is a NFL quarterback and her brother's BFF. Years ago, a tragic situation happened with Jax and Lucy's brother that made Lucy hate him.

Now years later, they are working together to help Jax realize his dream of opening a sports camp for disabled children and needs Lucy's expertise in physical therapy.

Their attraction is intense and the banter was so perfection. I really enjoyed the added family characters which added so much fun to the story.

Amy McFadden did a great job with the narration and brought the fun element to the story.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of the audiobook. I DNF'd this at 40%, this one was not for me.

I enjoyed the author's first book and I know this book is very personal for her so it makes me feel so bad with not connecting with it. The premise sounds good but for me, internal dialogue is always difficult for me to enjoy.

Emily Pike Stewart did a good job with brining all the internal thoughts out.

** spoiler alert ** Cal is back to her home town for her father's funeral. There she meets up either her former crush who is her former BFF's older brother. Ambrose (Ro) is a famous chef who recently opened a pop up restaurant in their hometown.

We see Cal try to restore her relationship with Dylan, her bff as well as befriends Ro. Cal is outgoing and funny but there's another side to her that only Ro sees.

I enjoyed their interaction and how Ro was such an asshole to pretty much anyone but Cal and his family. I also enjoyed the mystery part of the story. I also enjoyed the start of each chapter with a song and how it relates to each chapter.

I did have some issues with the story:
- there was a lot going on and the story felt a bit long
- Ro has loved Cal since they were young. Kind of sick with the 5 year difference
- how on earth is a 26 year a multi rated Michelin chef and a billionaire

The story is told in both Cal & Ro's POV and Lila Winters and Teddy Hamilton did a great job with both characters.

I am always a sucker for a forbidden romance with best friend's sister so this was right up my alley. Harrison was asked to help watch Luna, his best friend's sister and somehow they end up being crazy attracted to each other. Luna is smart, full of sass and a total opposite of Harrison.

There's a bit of mystery and suspense in this story which added an interesting element. I also liked that characters from Suddenly Broken duet played a part in this story too.

Jason Clark and Stephanie Németh Parker both brought out the characters to life.

Aspen's heart was buried with her husband when he passed and she never wants to fall in love again. Her interest is peaked when she meets her neighbor's son, Hawk, who is back to help his ailing mother. Aspen and Hawk forms a friendship with helping Aspen's mom. I enjoyed their friendship.

There is a lot going on with Hawk's job where he is always disappears for awhile. Even though he is a tattoo artist. There's some drama with the story which kept me interested.

Zachary Webber and Isabel Del Castillo did a great job with the narration and kept me engrossed with the story.

I am so happy that Ainsley and Mason gets their HEA in this story. Ainsley has grown up and bit and is ready to date and Mason to the rescue to help teach her. This was such a great friends to lovers story and I love how caring Mason is. I enjoyed that we got to see more about Mason's background and what led him to be how he is.

There's still a lot of drama with Ainsley's old boyfriend and I enjoyed seeing her brothers and dads playing a positive role in this story.

As with book 1, Tyler Tetsuda and Emma Wilder did a great job with the narration.

This story is heartbreaking with Ainsley's story. She has lived a very sheltered life being one of the secret child of her dads and part of the triplets that isn't famous. We really she her grow up to be a young woman that goes through a lot of heartbreak and grows up as well.

I enjoyed the friendship that Mason has with Ainsley and how he was so supportive of her. There wasn't much romance in the story but felt more a set up for the next story.

This was narrated by Tyler Tetsuda and Emma Wilder and they did a great job.

If you are a looking for a second chance romance in an academia setting then this one is for you. Clara and Teddy met at camp as teenagers and grew to have feelings for each other but something happened and it ended. 10 years later they are reconnected as Teddy is a visiting professor at where Clara teaches.

The story is told in past and present timeline. I really enjoyed the past timelines and all the way they communicated and it felt real that life gets busy you lose touch.

The story kept me curious what led to the end of their friendship and was disappointed it was a miscommunication.

The present time, I felt that Teddy fell too fast and there wasn't much reconnecting for me to buy it. I did enjoy the addition of Clara's sister to add some sass to the story.

If you are looking for a fun witchy vibes story, look no further. Delia and her family are fun and quirky and believed they were witches despite not having any witchy powers. Max moves in next door to sell his recently deceased uncle's home. Max and Delia ends up working together to stage the home and I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. Both Delia and Max's family added such a fun element to the story.

Laura Knight Keating and Zion Kang did a great job with the characters.
