This is another great book in the Sunrise Cove series. We have second chance romance, forced proximity and brother's best friend in Better Than Friends. We have Olive who returns to Sunrise Cove to help her best friend out. Olive meets back up with Noah, her best friend's twin brother.

The story is engaging and you just love all the characters. Joey really stole the show with his cuteness. The setting of Lake Tahoe made me want to drive up there to enjoy the beautiful mountain top.

Lange is such an amazing writer, I always look forward to her books. This is a story about as the title suggests, what happened to the McCrays. Kyle returns to back to town when his dad suffered a stroke. He reconnects with people he left behind and encounters his ex-wife.

We learn about their love story as well what happened to bring their marriage to an end through the dual timeline.

This story is about heartbreak, dealing with grief and healing. Parts of the story gave me Beartown town vibes with the hockey theme and the small town.

Stephanie NĂ©meth-Parker and William DeMeritt did a great job bringing out all the emotions.

I have read a couple of books from this series and they are always entertaining. Andy comes home and finds a dog who he knows from fostering. They return the dog and learns the BJ is arrested for murder. Andy goes into investigative/lawyer mode and helps BJ. The story is entertaining, with a fun sense of humor added.

I always enjoy Grover Gardner's narration in this series. It's like meeting up with an old friend.

So excited for another new series from Catherine Cowles. Ridley and Colt is just total oil and water ans I love the setting of Ridley being a true crime podcaster.

This story is not only the mystery of figuring out what happened to Ridley's sister but also looking at how a traumatic experience impacts others.

The romance didn't kick into about 60% of the story and there was some attraction mentioned earlier.

I didn't see the killer coming and loved how it all tied together.

Sebastian York and Andi Arndt did a great job with the narration. I can't wait to get the next book.

This was a fun enemies to lovers, forced proximity romance. I wanted to love this but found Henley just too much of an asshole. I didn't like how he treated Juliet.

I did enjoy the tension and the built up between the two.

I have really enjoyed this series of standalone romances and this one is no exception. Set in lakeside in Wisconsin, Joe is a single dad raising 2 adorable kids and working at his family's cabins. Maren is back in town after losing her job promotion and breaking up with her fiance.

She finds herself renovating a property she inherited and Joe and his family offered her to stay at one of the cabins during the renovation.

I really liked how Maren and Joe integrated onto each other's life and how she took to helping out with the kids. Their attraction is through the roof and enjoyed how natural that felt.

I always enjoy when characters from the other books play a part in this story.

This was such a fun read. I love how Blake and Amanda just couldn't stand each other and becomes a great partner in writing. The story is entertaining and I like that it focus on spicy romance books.

Reading spicy books still feels like something people are embarrassed about, yet it's such a huge niche in book industry. I love that the book addresses this in a fun way.

This one is my favorite of the series. Baldacci is such a great story teller with grabbing your attention from the first chapter and not knowing who is the bad guys.

Becky added so much to the story. She was funny despite having experience so much tragedy in such a young life. Travis is always getting shot at and still tried to find the truth. He is so relentless. I liked that we got to meet the girl on the train and get her story too.

The narration was superb with the full cas

I loved Chloe and Michael's love story. This was a great frineds to lovers, fake dating story. I really enjoyed seeing Chloe's growth journey from a shy chubby girl to the confident woman with her changes.

I felt that Devon and Kristin took Chloe for granted and glad that Chloe got her HEA.
