Thank you @readforeverpub and @netgalley for a copy of Falling for You. I love this series and bummed this is the end of it. The small lakeside town in Canada sounds so beautiful and I love the people in this town.
I love that both Faith and Rob were both at crossroads with their life. Faith, on where to go next and Rob, custody battle with his ex wife. I love how they worked on the house together and got to know each other better during these interactions.

Thank you @bibliolifestyle @williammorrowbooks for a copy of Nine Lives. This book was a nod to Agatha's Christie's book, Then There Was None. I have not read that so I have no comparison.
This is about 9 people who all receive a list of 9 names with their names on it and what happens to these 9 people. There are a lot of characters in the story and it was interesting to see what happens to them.
I enjoyed the writing and the pace of the book. The mystery of the killer kept me guessing who it could be l.

Thank you Jenny Hale for a complimentary audiobook of Butterfly Sisters. This was a great women's fiction and romance.
I enjoyed seeing the dynamics of the Henderson sisters and their mom as they meet in the lake cottage left by their grandmother. Leigh is at a cross road with losing and her job and deciding what to do and reconnects with Colton, her crush. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop and how grounded Colton was.
The narrator did a great job with the story.

I enjoyed this small town romance between Teagan and Aaron. This book has all the fun and banter that Hunting does so well. What I didn't expect was that it got a lot deeper and realistic as the story develops. Be warm that there is a lot of heavy discussion around drug abuse.
I thought Aaron was such a cinnamon roll and I love him so much.
The narration was amazing on this story.

This was my first book from this author and I loved it. I wasn’t expecting the suspense aspect of the story and it was so good. It kept me interested from the first chapter and I didn’t want to put it down.
I love how strong Everly is despite her upbringing and how her healing process helped others too. Hayes was so protective and everything I love with a cinnamon roll hero.
I can’t wait to read more from this series.

What did I just listen to? Let’s say that I was confused most of the book and not knowing who’s POV and present or past timeline between the chapters.
I was really excited with the premise of the book with a cult and that portion satisfied me. However, the massive confusion with the unknown POV which was I guess the twist made the story very confusing.
To be honest, the twist of the unknown narrator wasn’t even that big of a deal.
The narration was fine but I think this book and how it is written is not ideal for audiobooks.

Thank you to the publisher @netgalley for a copy of this book. I have enjoyed all of the books I’ve read from Madden-Mills and this one did not disappoint.
If you love high school football (Friday night lights vibes) this is the perfect story. I love the nod to Beauty and the beast from the name of the high school to Nova’s favorite colors being yellow.
The chemistry between Nova & Ronan was amazing and I loved their interactions

I thought this book was okay. My favorite part of the story is Sadie’s friends and how supportive they were of her new business endeavor. I did enjoy how Sadie and Jack met and became friends/roommate.
Here’s a few things that sort of bug me in the story.
- The Valuation of Sadie’s new business. She asked for $200,000 at first for 20% which means the company is valued at $1 million. I think I watch too many episode of Shark Tank and this was so unrealistic.
- I thought Sadie way over reacted with Jack’s big secret. It was not like they have been in a relationship that long for him to share that part of him.

Thank you @netgalley @macmillianaudio for a copy of The Resting Place. The narration was excellent in creating a very creepy atmosphere at the mansion that Eleanor knew nothing about.
I love how you never really know what is going on in the past or present and keeps you guessing. There were a lot of twists I didn’t see coming.

You must read Consolation before starting Conviction which picks up when Consolation ends. This one is tough to review without giving up the plot twist but Natalie and Liam’s relationship is tested. My heart broke for both of them and I loved how the story unfolded. This was such a great duet!
