I have enjoyed this series so far but this one was a miss for me. I thought it was kind of sad that Benny never reached out to Francine and secretly hoped she would come to look for him. Also a little creepy that he had created a life hoping that she would come to him.
The premise of requiring Francine to live with Ben seems odd and the pranks Francine pulled were childish. I am not sure why the author mentions that Benny is part Filipino descent and never goes into the culture. If felt like it was added to create a diverse cast of characters but not really.
I did enjoy the dual POV and the narrators of the story.

Katherine Center does it again! A badass female protector along with fake dating with a celebrity...sign me up!
I love how Jack and Hannah formed a friendship and the interaction between them. I love how they helped each other heal with their own issues.
There is a part of the book that speaks of gun control and how relevant it is in light of recent events. The narration was amazing and I savored every minute of the story.
Thank you @netgalley for the ALC.

Thank you to the publisher for a copy of this book. I always enjoy multi generation stories and this starts with Sara who is charged with accusation of blasphemy in Kuwait. The story spans 3 generation of women related to Sara and showed what they endured during their life. Lots of heartbreak.
I had a hard time with Sara's character and her indifference attitude towards her situation and her life. I enjoyed the stories of the other generations much more.

Not a whole lot happened in this novella and continues from the first one. You learn a little more but doesn't give you any clues as to what is happening to Silas and Charlie. I am vested to see how this turns out.

This was another fun bored housewives behaving badly story. All 3 of the MC were pretty unlikeable and pretty much backstabbing each other. I am not sure what the attraction with Will was - maybe just fresh meat. There was a twist in the story that I didn't see coming and I enjoyed it.

This story is as amazing as the hyped! I love seeing how Patrick formed a bond between his niece and nephew and how they all helped each other deal with grief.
This story is just a big giant hug. So heart warming.

This series is amazing!! I loved Hadley and Calder's story. There's so much in this story from friends to lovers to family dynamics and a mystery stalker. So much emotions for Hadley as she struggles with her controlling mom and her desire to be her. I love how amazing she was to Calder's kids and how they were so good together. I can't wait to continue reading this series.

A small town romance with a mental health focus, this was a great steamy read. I love how Aja moved to the small town to deal with her anxieties while Walker wanted to leave as quickly as possible which created the resistance of their attraction. I adore the fun bingo setting and how the slow burn between the two. I appreciate seeing both of their journeys and how they came together. The narrator was great with doing both Aja and Walker's voices.
Thank you @netgalley for both a copy of ALC and ARC of this book.

I always enjoy Smith's book with her incorporation of her culture in her books. This was a fun enemies too lovers work place romance. The book deals with a female working in a male dominated industry and the harassment she received as well as romance. I thought Tate was a likable character that is an awkward handsome nerd. The main conflict was kind of weak and made me dislike Emmie.
