This was a cute small town romance with a city girl coming to escape the media. I enjoyed all the side characters and how everyone knows your business.

I liked how Lilian and Caleb's relationship developed and seeing how they resolved their conflict.

I am having a hard time rating this book. As a parent of a teenage child, it scares me that this is what I get to look forward to. I know it happens but these teenagers were a bit extreme.

To have tattoos, the girls be so promiscuous just rubbed me the wrong way. I think if this was a college setting would make more sense.

I did enjoy the pen pal letters between Ryen and Mehsa. I did not think Mason treated Ryen well at all.

Thank you @stmartinspress for a copy of Hester who is based on Scarlett Letter and Nathaniel Hawthrone's inspiration of the story.

The story is told of Isobel who moves to America with her new husband, Edward. Unfortunately, Edward is a drunk and drug addict and leaves Isobel to use her embroidery and sewing skills. I love how the story wove in Scarlett Letter in building the story. Isobel and Nathaniel's love story is sad. I love how strong Isobel was and what she did to protect her daughter.

I have been waiting for Shiloh's story!! We saw Ramsey in the previous book and he is the perfect paring with Shiloh who is looking for more independence from her family.

Ramsey is the perfect grump and his wall slowly crumbles with Shiloh coming into his life and the addition of Aidan and his brother.

Shiloh already has had a tough life with her capture as a child and now is being harassed again. I love how Ramsey bands together with Shiloh's family to find the tormentor.

Having followed Chip on IG, it was great to see this book come to life. I feel like there's a lot of Chip in the story from the Taylor Swift reference to the military parts in the story.

Will and Graham's story is sweet. Graham comes off as a stand-off but truly is a great guy. There romance is very stress free and I kept waiting for the big issue and it never happened. Their romance didn't have the tension that I was typically see in romances which was unexpected.

I truly appreciate the last part of the story when Will learns more about his estranged father and the importance of veteran care.

A great fake marriage, friends to lovers story between Mia and Noah. The two are so great together with pranks at the office to hanging out. I enjoyed the story sharing Mia's struggle with a chronic illness and how she feels like a burden to everyone.

Both Mia and Noah has issues that needed to be addressed and I liked how they were dealt with in the story.

Thank you @netgalley for a copy of this book. Overall, this was an enjoyable romance. You will like this if you are a fan of forced proximity and forbidden romance. Ellie decides to marry Andrew to gain a large sum to help with her dire financial situation only to find out that Andrew's sister is Jack who she spent 1 day with. Jack and Ellie's one day is monumental for both of them and how they can't have each other and is forced to spend a week together.

I thought there was a lot going on with the story with flashback of the day between Jack and Ellie to Andrew's love and Ellie's situation. I didn't buy Ellie and Jack's connection - it seems way over the top to feel that much after one day.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of the audiobook. This book was so perfect for a heartwarming Halloween read. I loved all the characters from Mika and Jamie to the 3 orphans and the others living at Nowhere house.

The addition of witches makes this so fun. I love the idea of the family you create and how that could be more important of the family you were born into.

The narration was great and made me fall in love with all the characters.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of the audiobook. This was a fun book about reunion and the focusing on the 4 friends and what they are up to. I enjoyed seeing how these 4 ladies feels the pressure of living up to what they expected to be as adults. I love that all their lives were so messy and they were there for each other.

I enjoyed the narration and the pacing of the book.

Thank you @prhaudio @berkleyromance for a copy of the book. This was a fun friends to lovers Cowboy romance. Both Emmeline and Justin are lovable characters and I enjoyed their trip to Paradise island. There were so many fun moments between them and their banter was amazing. I enjoyed the dual narration and I always enjoy Teddy Hamilton's narration.
