I always appreciate a book involving cults and this one has an abduction too - sign me up for a twisty thriller. The story is told in Sarah's current day perspective to help find girl that is missing that is similar to her own case and also told when she was Sarahbeth living under the cult. I felt so bad for Sarah and how she was treated and her struggles to move forward.

IG made me read this. This was a fun no plot fun spicy read. It's pretty much steamy scenes after scenes. I enjoyed the texts between Samantha and her sister. The 4 guys were very demanding and took care of her. I think as long as you know what you are expecting, this will be enjoyable.

This was such a beautiful historical fiction story of several kids running away from an Indian school that treated kids poorly. Told in the perspective of Odie during the depression of their adventures as they head to Chicago to find Odie's aunt. The story is so well told and my heart was breaking for them as they survived some bad treatments from adults. They were so resourceful and so protective of Emmy. I highly recommend this.

I love the duet narration of this story. The was the best almost meet cute/ mischance romance. I love that Christian and Elise was able to reconnect and develop their relationship with a fake marriage. The chemistry was amazing and I love how they developed feelings with the looming end date. The outtakes at the end was a fun treat too.

A fun steamy holiday romance. I enjoyed this but didn't love it, instalove romance is a trope I have a hard time with. I did love Aidan - a southern sunshine with a love of bow ties who is a gentleman and a beast in the bedroom. Stella is starting a new chapter in life and has a lot of issues to work through. I appreciate that Aidan also had family issues that he needs to work though. If you are looking for a steamy work place romance, this is a good one for you.

Thank you @prhaudio for a copy of this sweet room-nance! This book gave me To All The Boys I Loved vibes with slow burn between Tara and Trevor. I love how supportive Trevor is of Tara's revisit of her old flame for a second chance romance. Tara a bookstagrammer and all the fun things we chat about on IG m, comes to life in this book. Also fun to see the characters from her previous book back in this.

I really enjoyed the first book but this one was just okay for me. This books is a second chance romance between Jaslene and Marcus. They were engaged but the marriage broke up as a result of Jaslene losing her sister. We don't really see the backstory and why they stopped talking to each other and why the wedding just wasn't postponed. They are forced to work together as Jaslene's client selects the museum as the wedding venue. I was hoping to see more romance between Marcus and Jaslene and it just didn't happen for me.
This book had a lot of other subplots like a strained family relationships, finding funding for a museum and a mystery of a ring all took away from the story.

Thank you @celadonbooks for a copy of The Angel Maker. It seems I am in the minority but this book did not work for me.
Why it did not work for me:
- pacing of the book was super slow. It didn't grab my attention at all
- flat characters. The main character, Katie, was blah and was used a connection to her brother
- lots of characters which the author goes back and forth with using first and last names. Which confused me at times since there is multiple story lines that didn't tie together for while
When it did finally got interesting, I had pretty much forgotten the first 200 pages so I wasn't vested at that point.

Thank you @minotaurbooks @macmillanaudio for a copy of the book. I highly recommend reading the first 2 books to really have the background as this book picks up right where book 2 ends. In this story, Finlay and Vero is finding the identity of Easy Clean under time deadline and must find a way for Vero to repay her debt.
Lot of shenanigans between these two and we also see Nick in this story. I love the tension between Nick and Finlay and seeing if they end up together.
The narration was great and I so need this book to become a movie.

Thank you @smpromance @macmillanaudio for a copy of this book. I enjoyed the first toe in this series and enjoyed this one as well. This was a cute friends to lovers story between Wes and Hailey which still started with a disastrous meet cute. It was fun to see how they keep bumping into each other and set a pact to being friends. So much fun to see the other brothers and their significant others appear in the book too.
The dual narration was a lot of fun too.
