A book about 2 couples that the wives work together at the same school and Jake, Nina's husband goes missing. We learn that Lily was seen last with Jake and she tells her husband, Christian, about her situation. The story basically is told in how Lily and Christian tries to remove tracks of Lily seeing Jake the day of disappearance and Nina looking for her husband. The story was entertaining and I didn't see the twists coming.

This was a fun faking dating romance. Lottie was a fun loving character and Huxley was your uptight corporate dude. Their fake dating was to help each other out and I love the tension and banter between the two. Huxley felt a little too focused on work with no emotions at times. Once he discovered he had them, their relationship with Lottie really picked up.

I have never crashed a wedding and this was such a fun meet cute - Cinderella meet cute moment. I love the connection Hudson and Stella had and how how they kept meeting each other. Both are great characters and I love how supportive Hudson was with Stella's success once they started working together.
I love the narration and the dual POV which makes the story so fun.

I became a fan of Cowles books with the Tattered series and I am so excited we now have a new series starting with Whispers of You.
Cowles does such an amazing job with romantic suspense and I love the tension between Holt and Wren. The narration was superb in bringing these characters to life.
Read this if you love:

Thank you to the author for copy of the audiobook.

I am a sucker for second chance romance with an element of celebrity in it. This story focuses on Ransom and Liv who played childhood crushes on a show and they are planning a reboot. There were fun interludes in the story with media tweets and articles.
I need the story to have Ransom and Liv together in current time. I didn't buy how they just fell back in love after not talking for 10 years.

Thank you @liber_lady for sharing your debut novel with me. As someone in an interracial marriage and an immigrant, I loved this story had both of these elements. Akira was such a great character, with her desire to become her own in architecture school while trying to please her family. I love her personality and her relationship with her family. Sam and Akira became such great friends and I love how open Sam was to the Indian culture. Akira's circle of friends also added a great dimension to the story. I hope to read more books from this debut author.

So many raved about Babel so I had to find it a go. I thought the story was well told and I love the idea of language and colonialism was told in the story. There's a lot going on in the story and I think that's where it may have lost my interest.

Thank you @getredprbooks for a copy of this book. Warning: this book leaves you wanting to read the next book immediately. This book sets the stage for women that was auctioned off for marriage to a stranger for millions of dollars. I am so vested in each of the characters and their pairings. I can't wait to read the next installment.

Thank you @smpromance @dreamscapemedia for a copy of the book and audiobook. This was a good friends to lovers rom com. I enjoyed seeing Eli and Leah become friends and how their relationship developed. The narrator did a good job bringing the characters to life. Eli was a little hard headed and so obsessed with the one that got away that got repetitive. Overall a fun story and I love Eli's friends.

I love reading the prequel to Fabled and having Saint and Isobel's story. I was vested from the first chapter and love the dual POV/narration. Both of their story was great individually and together it was amazing!
