I love The Amazing Race and fake dating trope so I was so excited for this. Asher and Theo meets at the airport and through of series of events, Theo agrees to go on a reality tv show with Asher.
The story is cute and the challenges they do are entertaining. With these type of settings, the side characters are all surface level so it doesn't add any depth to the story.
I appreciate that there were distinct narrators for both characters but at part, I was confused with whose POV it was because they felt just a bit similar, especially during the challenges.
Lee Osorio and Michael Crouch did a good job the narration. I really enjoyed then parts with Theo's family.

This is a story about a several women that falls in love with a charming good looking man and he is not it seems. The story is told through 2 timelines, present and 4 years before.
You know it's the same man right from the start because of his m.o. so it was really connecting the why.
I felt that the storylines for each woman was very similar and I got confused at times because it felt repetitive. This story moves at a slow pace. I wanted more background on his character to see what led him to this behavior but it was talked at a high level.

Thank you @dell @prhaudio for a copy of this book. The premise of the book sounds interesting with Kate, a recently divorced mom looking to get back into acting. Her new job is to play a writer for an author that does not want their identity revealed.
She works with Charlie, her agent, who is also divorced and helps her navigate through this acting job. The story is cute but I did not buy the romance between the two characters.
I enjoyed the nod to the book community. The subplot of the real author was also interesting.
Anna Acton did a great job with the narration. I wished there was Charlie's POV to give me insight to his thoughts.

This is a story about Jane, living in isolation with her dad in a remote town. As Jane turns into a young woman, she questions why her dad has lived such a reclusive life and learns about all the lies that she's been told.
This story is a bit coming of age, a bit of romance, messy family dynamics and a bit about how technology can help or hinder you.
I love how the story unfolded and Jane starts to figure out her past and how she deals with everything. The story is told primarily through Jane's POV and Helen Laser does a great job as Jane. We do have a bit from her dad's POV and that was narrated by Peter Ganim. I enjoyed his POV, it was like the inner workings of a madman.

This was the perfection of a rom com and summer read. Scottie and Wilder and in marriage retreat as a result of Scottie claiming she is having marital problems with her nonexistent husband. Enters Wilder who agrees to help her out.
Scottie and Wilder are so fun together and the banter is perfection. The setting of the marriage retreat makes for so much shenanigans. I love how Wilder totally jumped into the role and the improve they did.
In addition to all the laughs, there are growth for both of the characters. I appreciate that there's slow burn as they were strangers. Don't worry, the payoff and spice is worth it!!!
The duet narration of Teddy Hamilton, Erin Mallon and Stephen Dexter had me literally laughing out loud!

Whenever there is a relationship between a younger FMC with an older character, I always love to see the dynamics. We have Sabrina renting a room from Marcia and helps her with technology and other things. Their friendship is so special and I love how strong it was.
Things are all fine until, Adam, Marcia's grandson stays temporarily with them. He is reconnecting with her as they lost touch the last 10 years. I loved how they both instantly connected and didn't miss a beat.
The ode to love of books was a fun touch between Adam and Sabrina. I love the slow burn between the two and how they resisted each other.
This was such an entertaining forced proximity romance. Thank you @readforeverpub for a copy of the book.

The summation of You've Got Mail and The Hating Game is so on point. This was such a fun office romance. Emmy and Gabe both work for a baseball team and is aiming for the same job/promotion.
As a male dominated field, Emmy faces a lot of boys club mentality as the office and her nemesis is Gabe. The office nemesis vibes are strong and I felt bad for Emmy working in this environment.
The texts between Axe Murderer and Bird Girl was so good. I love how they opened up to each other.
I appreciated that the story didn't drag out the mystery of the texting and the story moved forward. The story is just full of laughs and both characters are likable. The supporting characters added a fun aspect too.

DNF at 100 pages. The story was just not grabbing my attention. I typically dont mind dual timelines but this has all been focused on the past and I am just not interested.

These full cast audiobooks are such a fun way to experience audiobooks. I love the sound effects and with all the various voices makes you feel like you are in the middle of the story.
I would say this is a coming of age story about Sabrina. The dialogue and her actions seems appropriate for her age but it felt a bit shallow at the same time. Sabrina came off for me a bit too privileged.
I did enjoy the exploration of friendships as you get older, trying to figure out your next steps in life.
