Ohh I liked this one way more than the first book and I feel like I'm about to binge this whole series.

Luna very much grows into her strength with the help of Arakon and the horde throughout the story and I really liked getting to see her acclimate and find acceptance in the Drakkari culture.
Not a dual POV and I kind of wish it were. The little bonus epilogue from Zoey Draven's site was nice though since it was from Arakon's POV. Very sweet.
Sidenote: I need to know if Kivan and Mirari get together because that was a cute little love connection towards the end there 😏

I don't typically read age gap romance but the entire premise here just caught my attention and I couldn't say no.
After a messy breakup, Charlie finds herself in the employment of her ex-boyfriend's father... Who happens to be the owner of an exclusive kinky sex club. Shenanigans ensue and they find themselves in a dom/sub relationship that blossoms into a forbidden romance.
The story was actually VERY sweet and I loved all of the additional side characters (Sophie ❤️🥹).
The spice was <b>okay</b>. I was expecting more of it.

Consider this my first read in what I'm calling my "smütty spiral" 😅🤷🏻♀️
I saw this on TikTok and I thought, "You know... Why not?" This has a lot of tropes that are outside of my typical reading choices but I figured a novella was a great way to give it a try.
Was everything my cup of tea? No. But, overall, I really liked it. I appreciate that it had all of the TWs up front.
I will definitely keep my eye out for the first full length book in the series because I am a SUCKER for a Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Also, today I learned what the acronym DVP stands for 🤣

I caught up with the polarizing drama over this book and honestly, the most outraging part of this whole story was Cas legitimately using the phrase, "He peaced out." 🙃
I actually really liked this one, overall.
Is it a literary masterpiece? Absolutely not. But I had a good time. I'm very interested to see how the two series continue to build off one another.

Okay, I get it now. I absolutely see why people are saying to read this one first. There are quite a lot of plot points and backstories mentioned that could be beneficial to TWOTQ.
