Such a cute little novella! Set in the same world as her Cambric Creek series, this story follows three elven friends on their weekend getaway to an orc nudist colony. 

I think Lurielle and Khash were my favorite couple (and they got the most resolution in this book) but I am eager to find out more about Sylva/Tate and hoping for Ris's own happy ending in [book:Parties|60113511]

I'm just in my cozy monster romance era and loving every moment of it. 🥰

This is a super sweet, super quick holiday romance. Maggie is a human, new to the space station, building up her bakery in time for the holidays. Archie is the owner of the business next door and offers to help Maggie with her shop so he can spend more time with her.

I knew I would devour this novella and that is exactly what happened. Hazel and Vlad were 🔥🔥🔥 The perfect little paranormal spicy novella. 

Hazel is the stressed out witch/owner of a supernatural-friendly bar. Her stress is only compounded by the new bar across the street that has some shady promotional tactics. In need of a night to let loose, she meets a vampire who knows just how to help get her mind off work. Little does she know that Vlad is actually the owner of the club that's threatening to ruin her business. And now she can't stop thinking about him.

✅ Immaculate spice

This is a novella set in her Gargoyle romance series but you don't actually have to have read the first book  (Titan) in order to enjoy this one (but you totally should)

My first Orc Romance 💚

Overall, I enjoyed this storyline. I think my biggest issue was the inconsistencies of the pacing. 

I think if there had been a little more tension building up front and the relationship progressed more slowly, I would have enjoyed it more. But because they get together pretty quickly, there is this lull in the middle of the book.

There are mentions of pregnancy in the epilogue.

Still enjoyed and will definitely continue the series.

Another adorable/cozy addition to this monster romance series!

✅ Great redemption arc for Tegan's brother, Reese.
✅ Sweetest kraken man- Cyrus
✅ Super spicy - lacey lingerie, praise, degradation (and lots of tentacles, obvs.)
✅ Much less insta-lovey than the first book.

Honestly, I rounded this rating up to a 3 because that cliff hanger got me and I was not prepared for that bomb. Don't get me wrong, I am still interested in this series and will see it through....but it feels more like a trashy tv show that I can't help but binge. (If it was a show, it would probably be on the CW).

This book felt way too long. There was filler in here that probably didn't need to be and, had it been edited down a little, I probably would have enjoyed it more. (A little worried seeing as the next book is JUST as long).

It did get spicier. But I don't know if I loved that or not. A lot of the spicy moments felt very cringe and awkwardly written..... like, at this point, I would NOT recommend this book for the spice.

I DID appreciate how this book really delved into the multi-POV format. I liked getting the perspectives of the guys to break up Oli's POV (and it honestly made Nox a little more bearable.)

The storyline is keeping me interested. So we'll keep it going.
