"Yes, the giant transport bot is going to help the construct SecUnit pretend to be human. This will go well."

Murderbot... still being a little bit awkward around humans. But also making unlikely friendships with surprisingly sensitive transport ships.

I love them!

"I don’t know what I want. I said that at some point, I think. But it isn’t that, it’s that I don’t want anyone to tell me what I want, or to make decisions for me."

Cool cool cool. Just me relating more to an AI who calls themselves 'Murderbot' than to the actual humans in the story.

I just love Murderbot so much 🥹🥹🥹

Oddly enough, this gave me similar feelings as A Psalm for the Wild-Built. But in a more action-packed, guns built into the arms, sarcastic, socially awkward kind of way. There's something about an introverted AI just learning to experience the world around them that speaks to me on a molecular level.

🤨 Well, I guess the one-click TikTok recs can't all be winners.

I liked the initial concept, right? Like cute holiday grumpy/sunshine office romance sounds great.  But this book went way over the top in very little amount of time.... Like everything was fine up until the 70% mark and then idk what happened. Too much.

This was such a delightfully good time!

I absolutely adore political fantasy with a romantic subplot and this delivers on all the things I love.

Very eager to get into the next one!

I enjoyed this one so much more than book 1 from the series. The pacing issues I had with the first book were non-existent here. I loved the build up of their relationship.

✅ Age gap
✅ Fated Mates
✅ Scarred Hero
✅ A smidgen of Primal

*Pregnancy is mentioned in the epilogue.*

Excited for the next one!

I continue to be excruciatingly in awe, utterly obsessed, and insanely intimidated by the mind of Tamsin Muir. 🤯❤️

Like, what an I even say? That is all.

This was just so fucking cute 😆

Some amazing rep, some astoundingly silly characters, and the perfect amount of Hallmark Hopeflix cheesiness.

Seriously though, I'm going to somehow need Kallum and Sunny to happen. I love them.

This one had some nice angst 🤌🏻

Arok, the missing eldest brother, has been forced into slavery and made to preform in gladiator matches for the past 5 years. In that time he has shut down emotionally and given up hope of escaping his fate.

Scarlett has been abducted, bought, and now made a prize in a gladiator death match. (Yikes) She is resourceful and still hopeful of finding a way out of this.

✅ Fated mates

I think Cassidy and Nyx are my favorites so far. Their stories are the most interesting at this point.

Cassidy has escaped her captor and managed to hide away on the Zivonian ship. She decides to hide out in a smaller ship on board to avoid any interaction with the aliens on board.

After being denied by the commander, Nyx decides to take it upon himself to go in search of his missing brother so he steals a smaller ship in the middle of the night. Days later he finds his terran stowaway and their adventure begins.

Unlike the other women in the series, Cassidy was not lucky enough to avoid being trafficked and sold into slavery. So she is working through a lot of trauma regarding intimacy. And Nyx is a wonderful Consent King👑❤️.
