I, too, would give it all up for Ozork.
I really like Willow and Ozork. This one is more of a slow burn and probably has one of the most compelling storyline from the series so far.

I wanted him to be more of a nerd but he was just some hot (albeit, very sweet) guy with glasses.
Also, I feel that with her initial aversion to touch, there was a missed opportunity for spicy moments without physical contact.

I'm pretty sure this one was one of the spiciest from the series. Ivy and Korr were hot.
I enjoyed the change up with the virgin MMC and FMC with more experience under her belt. (Most of this series follows women with little to no experience with physical intimacy.)

Things I liked:
- The sex work representation
- The healthy co-parenting relationship Juleesa had with her ex
- Cin and Juleesa's chemistry (the spicy moments were great but also their friendship and how that evolved)
Things I'm not sure about:
- I'm having mixed feelings about the way biphobia was introduced and then addressed in this one. I need to think on it.

I lost interest. I don't think it had anything to do with the book itself but more to do with me not feeling inclined to read anymore of their sex scenes- and they had TWO more nights of their 5 day affair to go before the real drama unfolded. So yeah. Not a bad book. It's very decadent and erotic, actually. I may come back to this series eventually if the mood strikes.

This was a kooky little collection of stories. Near-future dystopian space capitalism mixed with a whole lot of queerness! I expected to absolutely LOVE this but as it turns out, I had just an okay time. Some of these I found really compelling. (Some of them were just fine.)
My favorites were:
The Heavy Things (CWs: body horror)
Estranged Children of Storybook Houses
I am a Beautiful Bug
I read this via audiobook and I think I may come back to it at a later date with the physical book to see if it's a better experience.

Colin McCory is the only Colin that matters to me 🧎🏻♀️
This book had no right being as filthy as it was. The mouth on that man? That Steve Harrington look-alike?? Devious. (And delightful.)
There were a few too many razzle dazzles and sometimes the banter felt like it was trying a little too hard to be quippy but overall, I had a lot of fun with this one.

There's nothing wrong with this one (and I'll probably revisit it later). I just set it down and had no desire to pick it back up before it needed to be returned to the library.

And he knew that if the rest of his life was spent in building bridges, it would be no bad thing.
Maia deserves only good things for the rest of his life.
This is absolutely not a "for everyone" fantasy but I absolutely adored Maia and the story of his unlikely ascension to the throne. He is such a relatable character in that he is thrown into this position of power and feels like he is just fumbling his way through it (but with so much heart and earnestness.)
Addison has created such a rich and vibrant world that is, admittedly at times, a little difficult to keep track of. The existence of a 20+ page "Handbook for Travelers into the Elflands" at the beginning of the text that included sections on Pronunciation, Names, Forms of Address, Emperors, and a list of "Persons, Places, Things, and Gods" was a bit daunting.
I read this in tandem with the audiobook and I highly recommend because it helped tremendously with pronunciation (however, it did nothing to help me remember names and places.)
I am excited to see that there are additional books in this world. I'll absolutely be getting into them!

I just feel so warm and happy for them like??? 🥹♥️ Andy and Nick are my best friends now and I love them and their fat goofy cat.
Cat Sebastian nailed the emotional intimacy needed to make this friends to lovers such a sumptuous treat. I believed every tender and heart warming moment between them. The fumbling, the nervousness, the soft quiet gestures.
Just a delight ♥️
