To be 100% honest I'm not a romance reader so when I got this book as a birthday gift I was pretty excited to dive into the world of romance and damn was I glad I did. 

I really enjoyed the fact that the time period kept jumping between previous vacations and the current vacation so seamlessly, tying everything that happens so well together without and gaps in the timeline.

When it comes to characters I'm here for seeing characters develop so strongly as they did here. It was impossible to not want these two to have a good ending together. The fact that they grew individually and found themselves before pursuing a relationship is what I'm here to see. They aren't co-dependant to the point where they simply cannot function without the other. They each are their own person who is written to find themselves before finding their other half.

But to be honest the only thing that bothered me a bit was the ammount of smut/sexual implied content near the end. It all felt shoved in there. That might just be because I'm not a huge fan of reading smut
