Truly Devious
by Maureen Johnson
I have read this before and hated it. I think I DNFd it. Yet I decided to try again in audiobook format to see if it made any difference.
It definitely did. Although I wish I had ebook to read along to fully retain everything. Sadly I think unless I listen to book 2 and 3 ASAP I'm going to forget majority of this book.
I don't know if I care about the characters per say, maybe just the mystery side of the story.
The last few chapters felt like they took forever to get through. Even listening to the audiobook. It just seemed to me remaining never went down. However the ending got me more intrigued to carry on.
This is why I give some books a second chance. Sometimes my mood ruins my enjoyment of a book.
