Most believe that the city of Atlantis is a myth, but it is very much alive and thriving and located right under our nose. Their master is Poseidon, but her never shows his face. The high prince is Colin but he has been gone for 7 years, kept prisoner of an evil nemesis. Upon returning to Atlantis he goes to the surface he meets Riley, an empathic social work who just needs a break. She gets pulled into the hunt for Poseidon’s trident and an emerging war between vampires, werewolves, and humans. (and she thought being a social worker was hard). This is a nice quick read. Heavy on the romance and sexual tension, and lighter on the vamps and werewolves then other novels which makes it a nice change of pace compared to the usual offerings.
