We Were Liars
by E. Lockhart
wow
I don't know what I expected from this novel whatsoever, as it's not my usual book to read but the total caught my eye and so did the blurb.
I loved it. I loved every single second of it. E.Lockhart has this way of writing that draws you in, into the story, the characters , their world. I'm usually really good at figuring out what direction the story is going to take but this time I didn't figure it out. The twist (I won't spoil anything) got me. It got me really hard. It was such a beautiful book, in every sense. Please, if you are thinking about reading this, please do. It is a perfect summer read for when you are lying by an ashey bonfire or sunbathing on a beach. 10/10
