I am speechless. Everything was perfect. This was so beautifully written, the way each character had their emotional journey and finding their place within the pack, with their found family. It was everything I wanted and loved in a romance, not just an omegaverse/ why choose book but the caretaking, the friendships, and the pure primal lust were all enlightening. EL had accomplished so much in this book and it's one of my top reads in 2024.

I've been trying to write down my thoughts since I finished the book but I'm having difficulties putting it into words. Just flashes of awe and wonderment: from the prologue melancholy and high heat beginnings, to the Asian culture realism and induced childhood flashbacks, then their delightful banter and pure adoration for the heroine. The three disciples worship their goddess with reverence and devotion at her altar. Utter perfection.

Special thanks to Eliana Lee for the review copy and here is my honest review. The Heat of Us will be available on 31 May.
