Twenty years ago, this was the book I wanted most from the Scholastic Book Fair. By the time my class went, it was gone. All these years I’ve wondered what I missed out on with this book. A few months ago I finally bought a copy. I think little me would have loved it! And missing out on buying this one at that fair led me to buying Full Tilt by Neal Shusterman, which is still one of my favorite books.
