Feast of Sparks by Sierra Simone
5.0

I have been waiting for this book since finishing A Lesson in Thorns and it surpassed every single expectation I had. This story was so much more than I could have ever hoped form. Thornchapel and these characters have completely captivated my mind, my soul and my heart.

It is insanely hard to talk about this story without completely spoiling it. It is just something that you have to read for yourself. It is so different from any story out there now.

While this story was told in multiple POV’s it is primarily Saint Sebastian’s story. We got his and Auden’s backstory. We learned what happened to these two men. Of course, there was also more of Poe, Auden and Saint’s relationship and their relationships with the rest of the group (Rebecca, Delphine and Becket). While they all had fantastic chemistry in the first book of the series, it has grown exponentially in this book. They know more about themselves and about what they want. This group does not shy away from ANYTHING!

Sierra Simone has a way with words. They are absolutely beautiful. Her description of scenes, of places, of every thing makes this world seem so real. It is so easy to picture yourself in the story. Standing off to the side and witnessing what is going on.

This series is not for everyone. This series is one of the most erotic books I have read and Feast of Sparks takes the level of eroticism, of passion, of kink into a whole new level. Every single character in this book plays a major role in the story, they are all so different and add so much more to the story.

This story does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see where it goes and to get back to Thornchapel.
