librarybonanza 's review for:
Here Is the Baby
by Polly Kanevsky
Age: Infant
Family: Stay-at-home dad, older sister, working mother, and baby
A worthwhile addition for stay-at-home dads (although the cover is misleading because it shows mom kissing baby when the majority of the book focuses on baby and dad). The observational text "here is the baby, here is the daddy, here is the etc." is unfortunately tedious and grating with a rocky flow throughout. But babies and toddlers will enjoy the pictures and may relate to a day in the life of this baby.
And one final note, every person has a specific title in this book except for the librarian. She is just some "lady." So, you know.
