An Anonymous Girl
by Greer Hendricks, Sarah Pekkanen
I really enjoyed An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. This is the first of the books they have co-authored that I have read although [b:The Wife Between Us|34189556|The Wife Between Us|Greer Hendricks|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1496862122s/34189556.jpg|55227731] has been on my to be read list for a while. I love a good psychological thriller, and this had everything I hope to find when reading one.
Jess is just another anonymous girl living in New York City as a freelance makeup artist. In order to earn some extra cash, she sneaks into a research study hosted by the elusive Dr. Shields. The subject of the study is morality and as Subject 52, Jess is asked a series of questions which reveal a lot about her. Dr. Shields wants to expand Subject 52's participation in the study, but as Jess starts to open up more and more to the doctor she starts to wonder what is being done with the information she is collecting.
This book had me engrossed from the beginning. It was unlike any other psychological thrillers that are out there right now and such a roller coaster of a read. There was a twist at the beginning that I didn't expect, and the twists just kept coming. I honestly didn't see the ending until we were there! I highly recommend this to other fans of thrillers, and I look forward to reading other books by Hendricks and Pekkanen.
