A Little Something Different is just that. A little something different, in the ways of storytelling that is. The novel tells the story of a growing love between its two main characters without ever having the story told from the viewpoint of the two main characters (and there are fourteen different viewpoints!).

The story was cute and sweet and satisfied my want for a story that will give me the warm fuzzies inside. I was rooting for Lea and Gabe the whole time and my heart fluttered every time they had an interaction. I also loved the multiple viewpoints because it was fun to hear everyone (even a squirrel and a park bench) gossip about the couple (especially since that is typical human nature that you never really here in books).

Overall, it was a good debut novel. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a lighthearted YA romance.
