In comparison with the rest of the series, this one was just not so great. It felt forced after the ending of the book 6, which was great. I couldn't wait to finish, it was like a chore. Selene was too aggressive, and Cora too good and self-righteous, which made them both incredibly annoying. The main mystery had potential, it was nice to see for the first time something magical and scary, but the resolution was silly.
