What a clever and original story, with magical fantastical creatures, adventure and some shenanigans.
Two loveable characters, Twig the grouchy half fairy/half dragon and Quinn the sassy human wizard, kept me very entertained with their banter. The attraction between them is acted upon slowly but it does build up to some steamy scenes.
The wonderful world building brings together a lot of interesting side characters including a vegetarian demon and a ghost pirates parrot being included in the group of endearing misfits.
The story concludes with a HFN/HEA and by setting up for the next book in the series.
