Love for Two Lifetimes by Martina Boone

LOVE FOR TWO LIFETIMES IS OUT NOW!

Love for Two Lifetimes is my first time reading Martina but now I feel compelled to go back and read her entire catalog!

When Izzy suddenly and unexpectedly loses her mother to a car accident, her world comes crashing in on her. It’s always been Izzy and mom, their lives so intertwined and relationship so close. So imagine Izzy’s surprise when she finds a hidden box of unsent love letters written from her mom to a mysterious man overseas. Is this her father? How could her mother harbor these intense feelings all this time and never tell her?

Izzy sets off to seek answers and finds herself amongst English royalty, which I actually enjoyed. When I saw “royalty” I was concerned the story would be a typical royal romance but this book was so so so much more. Instead of being about royalty, family and history are explored. Obligations not to a country or title but to a person’s personal family history. I was hooked.

Love for Two Lifetimes is a story of how messy humans and love are. Even the most well intentioned people and situations can have negative or unexpected outcomes.

Plus, the romance in this story is just so incredible. Loved every minute of it.

PS: Ok, so, companion novel with Elli and Percy, right? Right.
