It's hard to hold back and not leave spoilers. This is a book that once you start, its hard to put down! I love how the author grabs you from the very beginning, and her descriptive language given through the main character Ji-won, helps build the reality of her world. The sights, smells, tastes, and all in eloquent ways. This may be the best book I have read this year, as I currently have finished 59 thus far. I would expect nothing less than several awards for this. I can't say enough great things

If this is Monika Kim's first novel, I cannot wait for what the future holds. Monika Kim is an eye to watch for sure!
