I was very excited to read this book because I really loved ‘my lovely wife’ by Samantha Downing. While I did like the way it was written (having two timelines etc) and was curious to find out what happened on the first road trip, I got a little bored with the story about the present. I still enjoyed the ending and definitely didn’t expect what happened but overall the book what ‘just’ okay for me.

But if you like stories about road trips, I would definitely still recommend it! :)
