i have a very up and down relationship with this series

i really love the characters and the settings.
i love how it works together too.

but this book felt very long and a bit boring, things where happening and there where basically two different plots being told but i just didn’t enjoy this book.

maybe too much happened while at the same time it all took a good while to actually get anywhere?

maybe i just didn’t really care for this particular mystery? or i read this book when i should have read a fast paced heart racing thriller and that made this book felt slow and boring?
possible. sometimes it’s hard for me to find the right crime book and i end up being disappointing because it didn’t fit my mood.
so i am pretty sure a lot of the disappointing feelings i have with and about this book are my personal problems and not the book itself.


it’s a good book
i hope the next one will be again one that i enjoy more.
