I liked this more than I thought I would. I thought it was so over hyped but it was actually very entertaining. I liked Violet as a character, she knew her weaknesses and worked on them. Xaden, while seeming like an ass, was actually a decent person. The found family trope was heartwarming. I loved that this was a dragon book that actually *actively* incorporated the dragons and we knew their dialogue. I just wish we could've gotten to know the other characters a bit more because there wasn't much emotional attachment there.
