The first few chapters of Lewis's story were a little slow but once you get to the midpoint it picks up fast. It was a very fascinating and interesting story. It has very graphic descriptions of skinning and dismembering elk so if you're sensitive to that I would watch out. There's also a few very brutal murders. But everything makes sense to the flow the story. Those particular incidences were meant to be brutal and unflinching.
Graphic: Animal death, Gore, Blood, Murder
