This was insane from start to finish and I mean that in the best way possible. I saw a video on TikTok about this book and I was immediately intrigued by the premise. I was pretty skeptical because the dead ex trope is sometimes written well, but more often that not, they're just not that good and I tend to stay away. This, however, was pretty close to perfection! There was so much drama, so much angst, so much heartbreak but ultimately a beautiful and entertaining story came from it. Eason and Bree were everything, and I loved their chemistry and dedication to their family. The only thing that bothered me was that twist at the end because it felt a little like a soap opera but overall, the book was well written and defininitely suspenseful, romantic, funny and entertaining.
