Again, this was just... fine? So was the first book and neither this book nor the first are as good as the second book. I thought the best friends to lovers trope worked really well in this, but the rest of it was just underwhelming and didn't work for me. It just wasn't exciting at all. Unfortunately, with this being a series with characters in all the books, I felt like I had to read this but I honestly could have done without.
