Big Swiss by Jen Beagin
4.0

Greta spends her day transcribing therapy sessions for Om, the only sex coach in Hudson. She becomes mesmerized by Om’s client, a married gynecologist from Switzerland whom Greta calls Big Swiss. Greta is intrigued by Big Swiss’ attitude toward trauma. One day at the dog park, Greta recognizes Big Swiss’ voice and befriends her under a pseudonym.
As the two women grow closer, they quickly become entangled. What is Greta willing to do to protect her true identity?

BIG SWISS is a refreshing book that sheds light on how people process grief and trauma differently, and how we’re all unwittingly affected by past events. The audiobook production is phenomenal, with a cast of voice actors narrating different characters. I particularly enjoyed listening to the therapy sessions between Om and his patients, as well as Greta’s commentaries while transcribing.

I find the scenes when the character get very analytical about sex and their privates hilarious, but just know it’s very NSFW if you plan to listen to BIG SWISS out loud
