Charlie is not a girly girl. She likes sports and hanging out with her 3 older brothers and the neighbor, anything but being a girl. As nightmares bring her outside, late-night talks with her neighbor/semi-brother seem to make things better.

This is as cliche as it gets. Yes, it is sweet, but most of the plotlines are really predictable and cliche. I wouldn't recommend it because it's the same old love story rewritten. I don't mind that it is a classic story rewritten, I just think there was nothing new or special added to it.
