Really neat anthology that starts with a simple concept: a machine that tells you (though often vaguely) how you will die. From that initial concept come stories that are heartfelt, tragic, funny, disturbing, and more - but the end result is a lot of fascinating takes on how we deal with our (individual and collective) mortality. Neat stuff.
