Emily Henry is the type of author that can do wrong, whose books you just HAVE to read the day they come out. Happy Place is no exception. While it did not usurp Beach Read for me, it's a close second. I truly adore Wyn and Harriet's relationship and this wonderful second chance romance that Emily Henry has graced us with. Her writing just hits home, and really pulls at your heartstrings. The side characters and the benter within this book truly made it special, and the story made me so nostalgic for my friendships and childhood and the joys and pains of growing up.
