I was so excited for this book. The blurb had me sold. Even after the last few in the series left me not enjoying it and wanting more. I went into this book with an open mind and ready to enjoy this one. 

While I really felt for Aiden and everything he went through and wanted to wrap him in a hug and never left go. Half the time I wanted to shake the crap out of him but looking at how his mother is, I understand it. Also I COULD NOT stand his mother and wanted to reach into the book and punch her. 

There was a lot of tension, a lot of angst but also their connection was undeniable. They fought extremely hard for their HEA. 

With all that said, like the last few books this one just didn't hit the mark for me. There were times that I rolledy eyes, felt myself wanting to skim over parts and things that felt forced or brushed over. I was left wanting more.
