What did Tashi do? by Anangsha Alammyan
5.0

The book is fast-paced, full of suspense and drama. Written very beautifully, the book traces the struggle of Tashi to get her integrity and respect safe from the clutches of the blackmailer, a stranger holding some semi-naked pictures of her. Tashi is shattered to the core when the blackmailer threatens her of releasing her compromising pictures on the internet and sharing them with her family and colleagues. Torn between safeguarding her respect and following the blackmailer’s demands, Tashi manages to fulfill his demands as well as register a complaint with the Cyber Cell of the Police after Manav, a friend of her, intervenes.

The book is an absolute perfect package, with no loose strings or poor writing or what other bibliophiles say, ‘poor framing’. I loved it to the core, enjoyed it and finished it in like half an hour! The author shares her own bad experience of social media in this book, although from the eyes of Tashi.

Some tense conversation between the blackmailer and Tashi grips the reader to finish the book in first read only. The book is really interesting.

Definitely loved and enjoyed the book. Perfect writing, easy narration, and a story that blurs the thin line between online bullying and a full-blown real-life ordeal, What Did Tashi Do? highlights the importance of security while posting pictures on social media, and the alertness to be shown while doing so. The author keeps the reader on the edge with mind-numbing and flawless writing. ❤
Definitely Recommended! ❤
