I found this to be a pretty interesting take on what's basically a superhero origin story. The scientific aspects were super interesting and seemed well researched to me but then again what do I know about genetics.
I don't normally read action thrillers which this book kind of was. I enjoyed it but I ran into the same issue I have with action movies which is that the actual action scenes bore me and my attention drifts, so the last third of this book was harder for me to finish, but I liked it a lot up until to that point.
I really liked the way Logan related to his family and friends, the book definitely had a lot of emotional depth and it also brought up some very interesting ethical questions. It was fun to read about a world where brilliant scientists are basically gangsters.
