ThunderBoom

As far as books by "neurodivergent kid parents" go, this one didn't curdle my stomach like a LOT of others. The book shows a loving, genuine family that makes accommodations for their neurodivergent son, Logan, instead of forcing him to be appealing to neurotypicals. The whole living-in-his-own-world bit soured the story for me, but it was refreshing to read a book by a parent with a disabled child where the parental characters weren't victimized and the child was complex and not infantilized.
