There are many changes in Karma's life. Her dad now stays at home while her mom works, her best friend seems to be replacing her, and there are seventeen hairs on her upper lip.

I really loved this book! I wanted to tell Karma that body hair is natural and nothing to be ashamed of, and that it doesn't make her any less of a girl. I can relate to Karma because I was teased for having a mustache in elementary school. It was great when her mom explained to her that she can remove it if she wants or leave it. Every little girl needs to hear that.

I recommend this book to everyone, especially girls and women who feel insecure about their body hair.
